The medical assistant prepares patients for their appointments and collects pertinent information, including vital signs and chief complaints, documenting this information accurately in the patient's medical record. Additionally, the role requires performing specialized tests, preparing and administering medications as ordered, assisting providers with treatments, scheduling appointments, and conducting follow-up calls to patients.
