  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Skill in using a PC.

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers and other healthcare team members in the clinic.
  • Perform a variety of back office and patient-related tasks.
  • Ensure smooth patient workflow within the department.
  • Conduct patient care procedures such as injections, EKGs, ear lavage, and blood draws.
  • Measure patient vital signs including weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and temperature.
  • Manage rooming and patient flow, including pre-visit preparation and post-visit duties.
  • Inform providers of schedule changes that impact patient flow.
  • Assist with front office activities and varied scheduling tasks.
  • Report test results as directed by the provider.
