About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Clinical Services, the MA Trainer performs a variety of tasks to ensure TVHC's Medical Assistants are properly crossed-trained in all clinical departments. The MA Trainer performs full Medical Assistant responsibilities as part of the training process of new hires and provides one on one training to Medical Assistants for all competencies, including patient care responsibilities, lab, vaccine administration, infection prevention, and promotes TVHC's Service Excellence Standards. The Medical Assistant trainer collaborates with clinic leadership to ensure TVHC Medical Assistants are fully trained and up to date with all job requirements across all of our locations. About Us: Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center is a non-profit community health center that is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of our community by providing accessible, high-quality care by integrating primary care, dental care, WIC support, mental health counseling, community health education, and more. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with periodic Saturday hours.
