About The Position

This position is a placeholder for employees transferring into the MA Training Cohort within 3 months of starting with Saint Luke's. The Medical Assistant Trainee will perform a variety of duties to support the clinic. Answer the telephone, greet, screen, register and schedule patient appointments in clinic. Collect copays as applicable. Complete scanning and/or upload patient information. Mail recall appointments and make reminder phone calls. Stock and clean rooms and common areas. Inventory, receive and organize supplies. Prepare/turnover rooms for patients. Support clinic MAs including transporting patients as needed. May be trained to verify insurance and collect co-pays.

Requirements

• Applicable experience in a medical assistant role or similar
