Commitment to Your Future – Because this training is so valuable, we ask that selected candidates commit to working as a Medical Assistant at Logan Health for at least one year after completing the program . Your Role in Action As part of our program, you’ll: Participate in classroom-based learning sessions (3–6 weeks depending on prior clinical experience) to build a strong foundation in medical assisting skills. Train directly in the Heart & Lung Vascular clinic , gaining hands-on experience in patient care. Learn to welcome and prepare patients, record medical histories, and assist providers in procedures. Develop skills in specimen collection, point-of-care testing, accurate documentation, and patient education. Collaborate with a supportive clinical team that values teamwork and patient-centered care. Program & Hours Full-time schedule with consistent hours during clinic operations (typically Monday–Friday, daytime shifts).
