About The Position
Radiology Partners is looking for an Interventional Radiology Medical Assistant that will be responsible for accurate and complete scheduling, chart preparation, and verification and pre-authorization of insurance benefits for scheduled interventional radiology patients prior to the scheduled date of service. The IR Medical Assistant will use a variety of electronic and other means to gather and verify demographic and insurance information, including contacting patients, insurance companies and referring physicians when necessary. The IR Clinical Coordinator process contributes to ensure proper payment and improve patient satisfaction. This is an onsite position in Tampa, FL.
