About The Position
The Medical Assistant/Surgical Scheduler (MA/SS) assists physicians, PA, or NP with clerical duties, patient flow, patient care, and procedures. This role involves preparing examination rooms, maintaining patient flow, ensuring proper preparation for patient visits, and communicating care consistent with the patient's needs. The MA/SS is responsible for scheduling appointments, stocking examination rooms, reconciling encounters, obtaining vital signs, and documenting information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Additionally, the position requires flexibility with work schedules and the ability to perform various tasks as assigned.
