About The Position

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our surgery center in The Villages/Lady Lake. The position offers a schedule from Monday to Friday, with variable hours ranging from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The work setting is a Surgery Center.

Requirements

• A high school degree or equivalent education and training
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred OR a minimum of two (2) years of clinical Medical Assisting experience
• CMA/RMA certification preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity

Responsibilities

• Front desk check-in
• Chart prep
• Assisting in procedure room
