About The Position

The Medical Assistant position at Rochester Regional Health involves providing high-quality patient care and assisting physicians in urgent care settings. Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification or medical assistant experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients in a timely fashion and complete patient work-up.
• Obtain vital signs and assist physicians with procedures.
• Manage physician orders and complete appropriate forms/requests.
• Report issues to a licensed staff member when necessary.
• Ensure treatment rooms are stocked as needed and maintain patients' e-records.
• Adhere to required department and system protocols, HIPAA regulations, and local, state, and federal requirements.
