Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant with an active, recognized MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, etc.)
  • BLS (Healthcare Provider) Certification – current
  • Experience: 1 year required 2+ years preferred (more experience strongly valued)
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused clinical setting
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Passion for quality care, teamwork, and professional growth

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider in an ambulatory setting
  • Assist with patient intake, exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Administer approved medications and enter orders (labs, imaging, medications) into the EMR under provider direction
  • Document patient information, treatments, and education accurately and timely
  • Act as a liaison for patients—supporting scheduling, follow‑ups, and specialty referrals
  • Support quality initiatives and clinical process improvement efforts
  • Serve as a mentor and preceptor for Medical Assistants, supporting onboarding and skill development
  • Collaborate closely with clinical leadership, providers, and administrative staff in a team‑based environment
