About The Position

ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida has been serving the needs of patients for 62 years, providing comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care. Patient care is their top concern, offering both diagnosis and rehabilitative services. This full-time position is for a Medical Assistant/Scribe who is comfortable with in-office procedures, medical terminology, strong typing skills for scribing, multitask oriented, ambitious, motivated to learn, able to handle a high volume of incoming patients, a self-starter, and willing to learn all aspects of the ENT, Allergy and Audiology field.

Requirements

• Minimum one-year HANDS ON Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe experience
• Current with certification or willing to participate and pass our in-house training course and state test
• The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members
• EMR experience
• Strong typing skills for scribing
• Multitask oriented
• Ambitious individual with the motivation to learn
• Able to handle a high volume of incoming patients
• Must be a self-starter
• Willing to learn all aspects of the ENT, Allergy and Audiology field
• Strong interpersonal/organization skills
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong written, verbal skills

Responsibilities

• Desired hands on Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe experience
• Taking vitals
• Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures (will train)
• Preparing exam rooms
• Calling in prescriptions
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments
• Travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes
