Requirements

• Medical Assistant School or Vocational Training.
• Successful completion of Medical Terminology.
• Proficient in computer skills and data entry.
• Work experience in health care preferred.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively and legibly in English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and support patient flow by assisting physician with documentation as it relates to the patient's medical record.
• Track results and documentation of the defined plan of care on patients of all age groups.
• Work collaboratively to support healthcare providers to create a professional environment.
• Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services.
• Adhere to practice protocols and processes and effectively manage the volume of work without compromising quality.
• Schedule appointments necessary for follow up care.
