About The Position

This is a combined posting for an Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant Registered. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Schedule: Full Time Location: Swedish Heart & Vascular - Cherry Hill in the Cherry Hill area of Seattle, Washington. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
  • Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Healthcare experience (0-6 months for Associate MA, 6 months for MA-C and MA-R).
  • Medical Assistant experience (0-6 months for Associate MA, 6 months for MA-C and MA-R).

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months of prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • 6 months of previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).
  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire for MA-C and MA-R.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
  • Perform both administrative and clinical duties as required.
  • Meet basic patient care needs in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
