About The Position
A confidential outpatient practice seeks a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to deliver exceptional patient service and front-desk support in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology
- EHR proficiency; excellent communication and patient-service mindset
- Ability to take vital signs, follow medication/clinic protocols, and work calmly under pressure
- Mediclear Certification or equivalent required
- Organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Responsibilities
- Greet patients, manage check-in/intake, verify insurance, and schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate EHR records and ensure privacy compliance
- Answer phones, route messages, and support day-to-day office flow
- Take vital signs, assist with basic life-support situations as trained, and support clinicians during visits
- Coordinate across urgent care, internal medicine, geriatrics, and other departments as needed
- Monitor and restock medical supplies; uphold infection control and safety protocols
