About The Position

ECU Health Physicians is a multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina. The Medical Assistant in Pulmonology will perform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties, and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.

Requirements

• HS graduate or equivalent (or higher) required
• 10 plus years of Medical Assistant experience or related experience may be substituted for High School Diploma or equivalent
• One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred
• American Heart Association BLS Required

Nice To Haves

• Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA

Responsibilities

Benefits

• Full time with benefits
• 40 hours per week
• Day shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• No weekends or on-call
