This unique role combines clinical care with transportation responsibilities to ensure seamless service for patients and providers. You’ll perform vital clinical and administrative tasks such as taking vitals, scheduling appointments, assisting with dictation, and processing labs and specimens, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. In addition, you’ll travel to various locations, assist with homebound patient care, transport providers, and manage fleet vehicle maintenance and cleanliness. Candidates must hold a current BLS certification and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. There is a $2,000 sign-on bonus available for this position for external candidates and candidates who have not worked at NM in over 1 year. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is a multi-skilled worker who assumes a wide range of clinical and administrative roles within the physician office setting. Under the supervision of a Physician and/or the direction of a licensed nurse, the CMA provides direct and indirect patient care, performs laboratory and other testing, and may assist with clerical functions. The CMA serves as a key team player when interacting and communicating with patients and/or clinical staff in the ambulatory care environment.
