About The Position

Corewell Health is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for this opportunity! Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only This position will be Monday to Friday with variable start/end times between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with 1-2 early start dates and one late night. There’s an office rotation that leadership would like to discuss during the interviewing process. About the Practice ICCB Primary Care clinic is the largest Primary Care office in the medical group, and we see approximately 300 patients a day. The clinic covers family, internal, and pediatric medicine. MAs hired into this space are expected to be competent in both clinical and clerical tasks as well as adult and pediatric immunizations. Our MA schedules are built into blocks to match the provider/business need. Most schedules will include at least one early morning shift and one late night shift. Our team prioritizes building a culture of trust, teamwork and initiative. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 120 Days
  • AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required within 120 Days OR AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Required within 120 Days OR NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) Required within 120 Days OR NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Required within 120 Days OR NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Required within 120 Days
