About The Position

The position is for a Medical Assistant in Pediatrics located in Elmhurst, IL. This is a full-time role requiring 32 hours per week. The office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and rotating Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The role involves floating between various locations including Addison, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, and Lombard offices. The hourly pay range is $19.89 to $28.84, determined by the candidate's expertise and years of experience. Additionally, there is a sign-on bonus of $1,000, with $500 paid after 6 months and the remaining $500 after 1 year of employment, provided the employee remains in the position at a 0.5 FTE or above.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required.
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• A valid driver's license is required for off-site duties.
• At least 6 months of clinical experience.
• Flexibility to scheduling changes including overtime, evening, and Saturday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physical examinations.
• Obtain specimens and conduct select routine laboratory tests.
• Record results and perform phlebotomy and routine diagnostic tests.
• Perform clinical and administrative tasks under the delegated supervision of a physician.
