Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Active certification (RMA, CMA, or CCMA).
• At least one (1) year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Room young patients, verify identity, and accurately record vitals, medications, and chief complaints in the patient chart.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens according to protocol, maintaining positive identification for hospital transport.
• Promptly report critical lab values and patient information to the physician and care team.
• Manage phone inquiries, scheduling, filing, and medical records maintenance.
• Ensure a friendly, professional experience while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
