About The Position
The Medical Assistant assists in examination and treatment of patient care under the direction of a provider. This role provides support with the daily activities of the clinic front desk including patient registration, check-in and out process, appointment scheduling, and telephone coverage. The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing treatment rooms, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, collecting specimens, inventorying medical supplies, and maintaining exam rooms. They also assist with patient flow, conduct reminder calls, and ensure compliance with various healthcare regulations.
