Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited program for medical assistants
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification or certification within 90 days of hire
• Valid Basic Life Support Certification
• 2 or more years of professional medical assisting experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain effective relationships in a team-oriented environment

• Assist in prescription refills via various communication methods
• Manage medical supplies and vaccines, ensuring organization
• Check for expired medications monthly and document disposal
• Prepare FMLA forms and other documents for physician review
• Travel to satellite offices as needed
