The Opportunity We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator to support both clinical care and patient coordination. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients while also helping ensure a smooth, organized care experience from start to finish.
Requirements
- Previous Medical Assistant experience required
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Experience with EMR systems and basic office technology
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on patient care
Responsibilities
- Room patients, obtain vitals, and document medical histories
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and injections
- Prepare and clean exam rooms; maintain clinical supplies
- Coordinate patient care, including referrals, authorizations, and follow-ups
- Educate patients on treatment plans and next steps
- Manage patient communication, including phone calls and messages
- Support front office as needed with scheduling and patient flow
