About The Position
Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant at our Paramus Office. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required. The position involves promoting a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s). The Medical Assistant will assist physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization, and procedures within established guidelines. The role requires understanding provider to patient flow and anticipating the provider’s next steps to the best of their ability.
