About The Position
This role is located at our Odessa Brown Children's Clinic (OBCC) in Othello. Since 1970, OBCC has worked to uphold the vision of community organizer Odessa Brown: to bring quality healthcare with dignity to children from birth to young adulthood in the Central District and beyond. This position includes a sign-on bonus for eligible new employees joining Seattle Children's. The Medical Assistant will perform individualized patient procedures, treatment, and tests, ensuring that each child receives the highest standard of care. In addition to clinical duties, the role involves associated clerical tasks such as chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones. The Medical Assistant will provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow, ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent experience, along with the necessary certifications to practice as a Medical Assistant in Washington. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team and ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care. This role is essential in maintaining the clinic's operations and providing a welcoming environment for patients and their families.
