About The Position

The position is for a Medical Assistant in the OBGYN department, located in Elmhurst, IL. This is a part-time role requiring 20 hours per week, with hours from Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, including working 1-2 evenings and 1-2 Saturdays per month. The role involves preparing patients for physical examinations, obtaining specimens, conducting routine laboratory tests, performing phlebotomy, and executing clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of a physician. Required travel includes locations in Addison, North Elmhurst, Hinsdale, and Lombard.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required.
• Current certification or registration through AAMA, ARMA, NHA, or other certifying agency.
• At least 6 months of clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Valid driver's license required for off-site duties.
• Maintain automobile liability coverage if using personal vehicle.
• Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening, and Saturday rotation.
