About The Position

Job Purpose: Provide nursing care to patients in professional manner. Assist providers with assessment and management of patient care. Covers when primary clinical staff needs assistance or is out. Job Duties: Primary nurse for W,T,F Clinic at Cabot Medical Care. Rooming patients, collecting and documenting patient vitals, medication reconciliation, returning patient calls, notifying patient of lab results, refilling medications, and any other tasks requested. Follows all duties and job descriptions for all other clinical positions at Cabot Medical Care. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; reporting when repairs are needed. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential. Serves and protects the physician or health care provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Conforms to all clinic policies outlined in the employee manual or received verbally from a supervisor. Keep all licensures current. Performs any other task assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

  • Applicant must have active Arkansas LPN license or be a Registered/Certified Medical Assistant.
  • Must have up-to-date CPR certification.
  • Must have basic computer skills and must be a people person that is willing to help others and work as a team.
