About The Position
A trained member of the health care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or Physician. This role performs duties for all aspects of care and treatment for the patient population served, effectively communicating and interacting with patients, significant others, and other health care team members. - High School graduate or equivalent

Responsibilities
- Be able to work all areas of the Outpatient Department as needed
- Completes annual skills validation, maintains competencies and education per Department/Hospital policy
- Shows knowledge of new trends and techniques in patient care
- Maintain a safe and neat work area
- Demonstrate a good working relationship with all Physicians and their respective offices
- Assumes total responsibility for assigned clinic, this includes pre and post clinic duties
- Delivers direct patient care under the direction of the registered nurse and/or physician
- Responds to the demands of changing patient acuity in a positive effectiveness
- Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for continuous improvement
- Practices quality service as evidenced through QI results and patient satisfaction
- Maintain positive customer relations with all customers of the Outpatient department including patients, families and co-workers
- Maintains positive team relationships by demonstrating responsibility and accountability by enhancing positive relations
- Maintain supplies and report malfunctioning equipment
- Attends 50% of staff meetings to maintain awareness of updated activities of the department and unit
- Interact with patients, visitors, and/or co-workers with compassion, dignity, and respect
- Maintain positive behaviors, approaches, attitudes and be committed to interpersonal service
- Abide by the Behavior Based Standards, proactively promote teamwork and engage in a collaborative culture
