About The Position

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Medical Assistant to join our Melrose Center Team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. Position Summary: Utilizing broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices, aids providers in accordance with PNHS standard and policies. We are open to filling this position with an LPN, MA, or EMT.

Requirements

• Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
• Strong clinical and human relations skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Basic computer/keyboarding/mouse skills required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of experience desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
• Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
