About The Position
Platt College Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/Medical Administrative Specialist (MA/MAS) Instructor to join our team in Riverside, CA. The MA/MAS Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students enrolled in our Medical Assistant program, ensuring that course objectives are met and that students are well-prepared for their future careers in the medical field. The instructor will create a structured and disciplined classroom environment that fosters learning and effectively communicates the expectations and requirements of the medical workplace to students. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of educational environments, particularly the unique needs of adult learners. They should be able to provide a positive and effective learning atmosphere, demonstrating knowledge of the professional career paths relevant to the students' studies. The MA/MAS Instructor should exhibit motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. Candidates must have a minimum of four years of practical work experience in Medical Assisting, covering both front and back office operations. An Associate's Degree in a related field is required, while a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Additionally, certifications such as CPR, BLS, First Aid, and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) are highly desirable. The position offers a competitive salary range of $66,560 to $68,640 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
