About The Position

• Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• Computer skills, including proficiency with EMR and medical office software.

Nice To Haves

• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment).
• Skills to organize and prioritize workload effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing forms and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and brief medical history from patients.
• Assist with medical examinations and procedures as directed by medical providers.
• Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of exam rooms.
• Provide front office support, including patient registration and appointment scheduling.
• Determine patient eligibility for services and update records as necessary.
• Complete necessary paperwork for physical exams and travel clinic appointments.
• Provide information to patients regarding eligibility, charges, and payment/insurance billing policies.
