Requirements

• CPR Certification
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience with EMR systems
• 1 year of experience with vital signs
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years experience as a Medical Assistant or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs.
• Review past and present medical history and verify current medications.
• Prepare patients for procedures and exams.
• Perform prick testing and intradermal testing, documenting results in EHR.
• Administer allergy injections for immunotherapy patients and document accordingly.
• Assist providers and front desk staff with various patient care activities.
• Follow OSHA requirements, including universal precautions and sharps disposal guidelines.
