About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and reliable Medical Assistant to support both front and back-office operations in a clinical setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included)
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
- EMR experience required
- Current BLS or CPR certification required
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
- Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients
- Schedule appointments and answer phones
- Take and document vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture
- Administer vaccines and injections
- Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
- Provide general clinical and administrative support
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Foster a collaborative and professional work environment
