Requirements

• License(s): Certified Medical Assistant (CMA; RMA; NCMA; CCMA) required within 6 months of hire
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking
• High School Diploma/GED required
• BLS certified or obtain within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of Medical Assisting experience preferred, new graduates are welcome

Nice To Haves

• Medical Office Experience preferred
• 1 year of Medical Assisting experience preferred, new graduates are welcome

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician with patient care
• Prepares patients by reviewing patient medical history and taking vitals
• Photograph wounds and rashes
• Wound care
• Assist with in-office procedures
• Maintain the cleanliness of rooms
• Document records accurately
• Follow the guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentiality
• Performs additional administrative duties and projects as needed
