Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible with workload.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with community members, staff, and shareholders of all levels.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, analytical ability, and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and be able to adhere to fluid, flexible deadlines and expectations.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Measuring and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate).
  • Assisting with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Performing basic medical procedures under supervision, such as administering injections, drawing blood, and assisting with minor surgical procedures.
  • Providing basic wound care and applying dressings.
  • Recording patient information, medical histories, and vital signs accurately in electronic health records (EHR) or medical charts.
  • Ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  • Explaining procedures, medications, and follow-up instructions to patients.
  • Answering patient questions and addressing concerns regarding their healthcare.
  • All other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
