About The Position

HSHS is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Outpatient Specialty Clinic Clinic. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on care to support expert, compassionate care to our neurology patients. Position Specifics: o Department: Outpatient Specialty Clinic o Core Function: Nursing Support o Schedule: Monday-Friday. 40 Hrs/Wk. o Facility: - Litchfield – St. Francis Hospital o Clinic Location: Litchfield, IL o Sign On Bonus: $5,000 o Compensation that aligns with your experience

Requirements

  • Graduate from accredited medical assistant program required with coursework in pharmaceuticals and medicine administration practicum OR credentialing/licensure from an organization other than HSHS that meets the requirements of Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) which requires passage of an examination and recertification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
