Your Roel: The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the delegated nursing functions under the direction of the department manager and clinical nurses. This position is responsible for: Assisting with direct patient care and clerical duties that are an essential function in the coordination of optimal patient care, including, but not limited to Scheduling patients Patient hygiene/toileting Mobility assistance Interdepartmental transportation Vital signs Charting Ordering supplies Cleaning and stocking patient areas Chart audits and interaction with all areas of the department .
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and successful completion of a Medical Assistant training course at a vocational/technical school.

Nice To Haves
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant externship and two (2) or more years of job-related experience preferred.
