About The Position

The Medical Assistant (MA) Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the clinical staff of a medical clinic. This role acts as a liaison between the back office and other clinic departments, mediating issues between back office staff and physicians as well as other departments in the clinic. The Primary Care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatric, family medicine, and internal medicine providers, encouraging preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings, and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.

Requirements

  • Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required.
  • Previous medical back office experience or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program required.
  • Two (2) years experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
