What You’ll Do Serve as a trusted resource for patients by answering questions and assisting with needs over the phone. Educate patients on procedure preparation and provide clear instructions. Process prescription refills and review medical records for urgent requests. Support clinic operations by rooming patients and documenting information in the electronic health record (EHR). Schedule tests and coordinate with other medical facilities. Triage inbound clinical calls and respond according to established protocols. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and practice policies in all interactions

Requirements

  • Licensure: CMA or LPN
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in a medical setting (physician office experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation
  • Skills: Strong communication (oral & written), patient-focused approach, and ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Certifications: BLS or ALS
