Join Our Team: We are searching for a full-time Medical Assistant Lead for our Fenton Family Medicine office located at 714 Gravois Road! Opportunity: Full-time opening Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. No nights, weekends, or holidays Outpatient clinical practice Day-to-Day: Guide other Medical Assistants in their daily responsibilities, provide training, and communicate procedural and policy updates Act as a liaison between the department and the Office Manager Perform back office functions Assist the provider in the interviewing, examination and treatment of patients Measure vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen) Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team Who we are seeking ( preferred ) : 5+ years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting. The Medical Assistant Lead is highly visible in their interactions with patients and must therefore project a positive office image at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in all interactions with patients and coworkers. Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program. CPR Certification. PC/Windows proficiency. Medical coding familiarity. Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction. Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments. Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
