About The Position

Corewell Health Ludington Hospital Family Medicine - Grant located at 230 South Maple Street in Grant, MI. Our team consists of 2 physicians and 4 APP's that specialize in Family Medicine as Primary Care providers. This office has a welcoming atmosphere where strong teamwork is encouraged. We lean on one another to provide exceptional care for our patients. Staff work together daily to ensure that the clinic runs as smoothly as possible. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Required
• Successful completion of a competency-based MA Training Program
• 3 years of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting working as a MA, using EPIC Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 days
• One of the following Required upon Hire: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)

Responsibilities

• Provides daily support with problem solving and resource allocation.
• Clarifies root causes and drives cross functional problem solving in the team.
• Responsible for cost-effective utilization of employees and other resources while maintaining high standards of quality, service and satisfaction.
• Oversees and leads activities of non-licensed clinical staff.
