About The Position
Corewell Health is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for this opportunity! Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only About the Practice Adult diabetes management, including education, medication management, and coordination of care for complex chronic conditions. Including gender dysphoria. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in a physician practice or healthcare setting
- Experience working as a medical assistant, paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience using EPIC
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) - AAMA American Association of Medical Assistants Upon Hire required Or CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CCMA) - NHA National Health Career Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NCMA) - NCCT National Center for Competency Testing Upon Hire required Or CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NRCMA) - NAHP National Association for Health Professionals Upon Hire required Or CRT-Medical Assistant, Registered (RMA) - AMT American Medical Technologists Upon Hire required Or LIC-Paramedic License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-License Practical Nursing (LPN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
