HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics across the Tri-Cities Area including Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, and West Richland. We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview.

Requirements

  • Coursework/Training and Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
  • Coursework/Training and Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
  • Coursework/Training and Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
  • Coursework/Training and minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 6 months of Healthcare experience
  • 6 months of Medical Assistant experience

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment
  • 6 months Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR)
  • Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification

Responsibilities

  • Taking patient vital signs
  • Updating patient medical records including medications, allergies, and other information
  • Utilizing a variety of clinical skills including injection administration, assisting in-office medical procedures, specimen collection, and point of care lab testing
