About The Position

The Medical Assistant position in Naperville focuses on providing support in an Internal Medicine setting. This full-time role requires working 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one Saturday rotation per month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The position is located at 1020 E Ogden Avenue, Naperville, Illinois 60563, and may require travel as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
  • Active medical assistant certification through one of the following: AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, AAMA for certain clinical specialties.
  • CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire required.
  • May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire.
  • Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
  • Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures.
  • Assist with immunizations or injections if certified.
  • Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing.
  • Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
  • Maintain clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
  • Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values.
  • Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required.
