About The Position
The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting physicians, PA, or NP with clerical duties, patient flow, patient care, and procedures. The role includes preparing the examination room, maintaining efficient patient flow, ensuring proper preparation for patient visits, and communicating care consistent with the patient's needs. The MA will also handle scheduling appointments, stocking examination rooms, reconciling encounters, obtaining vital signs, and documenting in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Additionally, the MA will provide referrals, adhere to safety precautions, and demonstrate flexibility with various work schedules.
