About The Position
Corewell Health is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for this opportunity! Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only About the Unit Our Internal Medicine practice is located at 4444 Kalamazoo suite 200, in Kentwood. We currently have 9 providers with plans for a new physician in fall of 2026. We are internal medicine, so we see only adults 18 and above. Our MAs typically work a four-day work week, with one early morning and one late night until 7pm. We have a positive and friendly culture with providers and staff who enjoy teaching. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
