The organization is committed to health equity and removing barriers to care, having launched a Medicaid-focused clinic at their Riverwalk Internal Medicine practice in Lawrence, MA, to expand access to affordable, high-quality care for approximately 800 Medicaid ACO patients. This full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant position is to support this Medicaid Clinic, with clinic hours Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with staggered schedules. The role involves supporting healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and direct patient interaction to ensure comfort and address concerns, collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff for efficient care.
