In this part-time position, you will leverage your real-world expertise to deliver a comprehensive and engaging curriculum during morning classes.   • Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans using diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Evaluate and provide timely feedback on student work (within 72 hours), maintain scheduled office hours for advisement, and identify and address academic or behavioral concerns.
  • Actively contribute to curriculum enhancement by reviewing and suggesting updates to syllabi, assignments, and course materials.
  • Assist with student recruitment and registration, and organize enriching activities such as guest speakers, community service projects, and clinical site visits.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, graduation ceremonies, and campus workshops.
  • Accurately complete required documentation for student files, attendance, and other administrative records.
  • Graduation from a Medical Assistant program accredited by a recognized agency (e.g., CHEA) OR a combination of three (3) years of job-related training and experience.
  • Three (3) years of full-time, practical experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Current, unencumbered Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) OR willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Must hold any other current license, certification, or credential as required by local, state, or federal law to practice in the field.
  • A subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge of the Medical Assistant field.
  • A skilled educator with the ability to create effective, engaging learning experiences and administer fair assessments.
  • A dedicated mentor who serves as a professional role model and fosters a supportive learning environment.
  • Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), video conferencing tools, and common computer applications.
  • Prior classroom teaching experience.
  • As noted above, three (3) years of occupational experience is required; candidates who exceed this minimum are preferred.
