About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to teach in our
Medical Assisting program. This is a full-time, professional position
reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be
to teach Medical Assistant courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide
academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in
department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree preferred
• Certifications: RMA and/or CMA and/or CCMA
• At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven

Nice To Haves

• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience
