About The Position

Requirements

  • A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Current and unencumbered CMA or RMA certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must meet all local and state credential requirements to serve as an instructor.
  • Proficiency with technology, including MS Office and learning management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • A passion for mentoring and a genuine interest in student success.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is a strong plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging lessons in both classroom and lab settings, bringing medical theory and practice to life.
  • Guide students through hands-on practice of essential clinical and administrative procedures.
  • Develop and adapt curriculum to meet program objectives and student learning needs.
  • Mentor and support students throughout their academic journey and during their externship experiences.
  • Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and track their progress.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.
