About The Position

This full-time Medical Assistant II position is located at Prime Healthcare Cardiology, 800 Austin St, West Tower Suite 207 in Evanston, IL, with a schedule of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role involves assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Key responsibilities include appointment scheduling and chart management, as well as providing information to patients to help them fully utilize and benefit from the clinic's services. The Medical Assistant II is also expected to convey a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job
• Current Phlebotomy certification or Competency required

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual a plus
• Experience as a medical assistant for cardiology or vascular
